<p>The <a href="https://silkwayrally.com/en/2025-silk-way-rally-entries-open/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">Silk Way Rally</a> is one of the largest rally-raid competitions in the world and has attracted participants from more than 40 countries every <a href='https://factbud.com/category/holidays' target='_blank' rel='follow'>year</a> <a href='https://uslawpulse.com/legal-marijuana-states-a-guide-to-where-cannabis-is-legal' target='_blank' rel='follow'>since</a> 2009. The rally, which is usually held in the summer, takes its name from the historic <a href="https://www.britannica.com/topic/Silk-Road-trade-route" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="Silk Road">Silk Road</a>, at least part of whose route it follows.</p>



<p>The 15<sup>th</sup> ;edition of the International Silk Way Rally will start in <a href="https://www.britannica.com/place/Irkutsk-Russia" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">Irkutsk</a> on July 12, 2025, and finish of the competition is scheduled for July 22 in <a href="https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Gorno-Altaisk" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">Gorno-Altaisk</a>.</p>



<p>The total distance to be covered by the marathon rally competitors will be approximately 5,000 kilometers, traversing the shores of Lake Baikal, cross the border <strong>between Russia and Mongolia, go through the Gobi Desert, and then overcome the passes of the Altai Mountains</strong>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Who can Participate</h2>



<p>Anyone can participate, they just need to pay the entrie fee, as every <strong><a href="https://imcarenthusiast.com/category/automotive-engineering/motorsports/" title="">Motorsports</a> competition</strong> this one is no diferent, because all the cost of expenses wil be in the responsability of the teams that are participating in <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/jul/19/silk-way-rally-china-strengthens-moscow-beijing-relations" target="_blank" rel="noopener" title="">a test of skill, stamina and planning</a>, it doesn&#8217;t mather if it it a small or big team because in the end is the competencence of the teams, ability of the drivers and theyer vehicles that matter.</p>
