The next season of Silk Way Rally
The Silk Way Rally is one of the largest rally-raid competitions in the world and has attracted participants from more than 40 countries every year since 2009. The rally, which is usually held in the summer, takes its name from the historic Silk Road, at least part of whose route it follows.
The 15th edition of the International Silk Way Rally will start in Irkutsk on July 12, 2025, and finish of the competition is scheduled for July 22 in Gorno-Altaisk.
The total distance to be covered by the marathon rally competitors will be approximately 5,000 kilometers, traversing the shores of Lake Baikal, cross the border between Russia and Mongolia, go through the Gobi Desert, and then overcome the passes of the Altai Mountains.
Who can Participate
Anyone can participate, they just need to pay the entrie fee, as every Motorsports competition this one is no diferent, because all the cost of expenses wil be in the responsability of the teams that are participating in a test of skill, stamina and planning, it doesn’t mather if it it a small or big team because in the end is the competencence of the teams, ability of the drivers and theyer vehicles that matter.
